Ms. Grisel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She has a TCC in teaching and has been in early childhood education since 1990. She has taught and worked as a facility director, and she speaks Spanish.

Outside of work at CAHF, Ms. Grisel enjoys volleyball, running, racquetball, and reading.

Her favorite Bible verse is Is. 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
